Blue Ridge Woodworking is a small home based family owned and operated business in Bethlehem, North Carolina. Blue Ridge is run by the husband and wife team of Gabe and Athena Garnto. They focus on quality over quantity when making new furniture pieces and when refinishing them. They custom build all their items using real wood. Dining tables, desks, side tables and built in wall units are just a few of the things they can make. They have been making furniture for a few years now, but have branched out online and locally in just the last two years. Blue Ridge Woodworking is selling many items through Etsy.com, with a majority of customers in New York and California. They have also been featured in two articles in ApartmentTherapy.com. They have recently opened a small retail shop in Downtown Hickory in the Harris Arcade. Blue Ridge is also trying to help out the local community by offering space for other woodworkers, artists and crafters to display their work.
