Per? LNG's revenue last year reached US$1.33bn, up 3.94% from 2011, according to company financials filed with securities regulator SMV.
The gas exporter, which began production in June 2010, attributed the gain to greater volume shipped and higher prices. The bulk of sales went to Repsol Comercializadora de Gas.
According to statistics from state hydrocarbons promotion agency Perupetro, the company's 53 shipments last year totaled 8.73Mm3. The principal offtaker was Spain with 25 deliveries followed by Japan and Mexico (8 each), Thailand (3) and South Korea (1).
Per? LNG posted a net operating profit of US$43.4mn compared to US$26.7mn the year before.
Hunt Oil holds a 50% stake in Per? LNG, Repsol (NYSE: REP) 20%, SK Energy 20% and Marubeni 10%.
